FAQs > MisterClipping FAQ > I have images of models that require masking instead of clipping. Do you also mask and how do I let you know?
Yes we do masking. This applies for some certain images containing difficult hair in which it is hard to determine what part of the model/object is and what part of the background will need masking. Examples include glass images or hair images. With the extract tool you can remove the background from an image. Masking an object means that the background is pixel-based removed, but that some pixels become transparent. In that way, a glass remains a glass if you place it on a different background.
If you want MisterClipping to mask your images, please add a short description in the description field stating ‘masking’. Please notice that in order to have your files masked; you need to upload files that support masking: EPS, TIF or PSD.
